Receptor IR 860

The SaphIR 860 Phantom is a compact surface-mount IR receiver that can be located almost anywhere. Available in white or black, the 860 Phantom blends unobtrusively, allowing placement where you need it.

With wideband sensitivity and wide-angle reception, the 860 Phantom reliably accepts commands from most IR remote controls. It also provides excellent rejection of interference form IR sources like compact fluorescent lights. A blue LED provides clear visual confirmation when receiving IR signals.

Receptor IR 862P Eye

The SaphIR 862P Plasma Eye is a mini flush-mount IR receiver that can be installed virtually anywhere. Highly unobtrusive, the 862P includes white, black, and brass bezels for installation flexibility.

Special optical filtering makes the 862P immune to interference from plasma displays, making it an ideal choice for home theater applications. A blue confirmation LED provides visual indication when the 862P receives IR signals.

The 862P Plasma Eye is also ideal for use with in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers for an invisible yet readily accessible location. Russound’s Advantage Series loudspeakers provide a punchout that the 862P fits into perfectly.

Interface IR 857

The Russound 857 makes it easy to connect infrared accessories together. The hub of an IR repeater system, it receives signals from remotely located infrared receivers and channels them to your source components and other equipment.

The 857 supports up to six components using Russound 845.1 single IR emitters or up to 12 components using Russound 1584.1 dual emitters. It provides a convenient detachable screw connector for wiring multiple IR receivers such as the Russound 858 and 862. It also includes jacks for a Russound 854 tabletop receiver and a common IR signal from a multiroom system.

Usable with Russound 846C and 1201A 12-volt power supplies, the 857 provides an optional Status power circuit for use with products that have status indication. An LED provides visual indication when receiving IR signals.

Emisor Single IR 845.1

The 845.1 IR Micro-Emitter transfers infrared commands to a single audio-video component or other device. Its head attaches to the component’s IR sensor with an adhesive pad. The emitter’s cable plugs into an emitter jack on a multiroom controller or hub, or an IR connecting block such as the Russound 857 or IRB-6.

Emisor Dual IR 1584.1

The 1584.1 Dual-Head IR Micro-Emitter transfers infrared commands from a single output to two audio-video components or other devices. This makes it perfect for use when there are more components to control than there are connections on the controller or hub.

The emitter’s two heads attach to the components’ IR sensors with adhesive pads. The emitter’s cable plugs into an emitter jack on a multiroom controller or hub, or an IR connecting block such as the Russound 857 or IRB-6.

The ALTx-2 is a wall-mounted 126-watt volume control with a standard wall plate. It connects between the speaker outputs of an amplifier or receiver and a pair of speakers.

Using Ultra-Match technology, the ALTx-2 allows installers to easily match the load of multiple speaker pairs to the amplifier impedance without the need for a speaker selector or other impedance-matching equipment.

All Russound volume controls are made with precision autoformers for high-fidelity sound, excellent frequency response, no heat buildup, and maximum power transfer from the amplifier to the speakers.

The LPTx-2D is an economical wall-mounted 75-watt volume control with a Decora^®-style wall plate. It connects between the speaker outputs of an amplifier or receiver and a pair of speakers.
